These beautiful kilims were hand made by young nomadic woman in the village of Barak outside Denizli in Western Turkey. They are known for their bold geometric designs and pastel tones as well as their reasonable prices. The symbols used on all kilims have special meanings and can reflect the weavers desire for protection, abundance, happiness, fertility, etc.
